Though previous warnings have been allowed to expire, a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 9 p.m. has been issued for portions of Cook and Will counties, as well as Lake County in Indiana. The victim was found bleeding from her eyes and mouth, with injuries to her legs, stomach, ankles, her right hand and finger, a doctor's inquest report Aug. 9 and accessed by Reuters said. Doctors in India's crowded and often squalid government hospitals have long complained of being overworked and underpaid, and say not enough is done to curb violence levelled at them by people angered over the medical care on offer.
